Dear Friend,
I recently received my book galleys in the mail. Don’t worry if you have no idea what a book galley is;
I had no idea until I wrote a book. When I first read the publishing contract it mentioned something about
"book galleys". I promptly asked my agent: "What is a book galley?" So much for pretending to be anything other
than a first-time author… :)
A book galley, I now know, is a pre-publication version of the book. It looks just like the actual book, although
the internal formatting is not completely finished. It also says "This copy is not for distribution to the public",
and other such modifiers…
120 copies of the galleys were sent to my publicist, and 50 more of them ended up at my house. I wasn't planning on
being particularly excited. I mean, I knew they were coming. It has been a full year since I wrote the book. No big deal,
right?
And then I opened the box that Fed Ex delivered. I was on the phone with my mother and started to scream. My poor mother
had to listen to me scream for the next ten minutes, since every time I turned the page, I would begin jumping up and down
all over again. I even surprised myself with how excited I became.
Even now, almost a week since opening the box, I am filled with an ineffable joy every time I look at the book. From the
cover to the content, it is as if molecules of jubilation jump between my book and me.
Now you might think that this excitement comes from the fact that I have accomplished something, achieved something that
I set out to do. You might think it is because I feel worthwhile, having accomplished this feat. Perhaps that I am motivated
by a feeling of success.
Although this may be true, it has very little to do with my feelings of well-being. No, my joy has very little to do with
accomplishing anything at all. Rather, it comes from the fact that I realize so clearly that I have nothing to do with any
of it. I am merely observing the beautiful process of evolution.
It is in this act of observation that the observed and the observer become one and experience the joy of creation. In Vedic
terminology, the Self curves back on Itself to experience Itself. In this experience of unity, you experience the bliss of who
you truly are.
Let me explain in detail in the article below…

Experience Unlimited Bliss
The experience of ecstatic bliss comes from the realization that you are not the doer. That's right - you are not the
doer. You are not the doer because there is no "you" to do anything. Yes, you think you exist. And from one perspective,
you certainly do. However, most of us are addicted to the idea of a separate self. We spend our entire lives imagining
ourselves to be a separate, distinct entity. The problem with this is that we consider ourselves to be separate from the
world around us. We believe that we are separate from other people; we believe we are separate from the environment. We might
even believe that we are separate in some ways from ourselves. And we most certainly believe ourselves to be separate
from our dreams and visions, goals and aspirations. We identify ourselves with our bodies and our minds. When our minds
cause us trouble, we suffer. When our bodies cause us trouble, we suffer.
Fortunately, as ancient wisdom reveals, pain happens - suffering is optional. The suffering comes because we believe ourselves
to be a body-mind, a separate entity, and this is all that we believe ourselves to be. We experience ourselves as inherently
limited: we are only as beautiful as our bodies are young. We are only as gifted as our minds allow us to be. We are only as
successful as we are accomplished.
This experience of limitation is a lie. It is an illusion, and the more you are able to pierce through this veil of separation,
the more you can discover your true nature, which is at once and always beautiful, magnificent, and glorious. You will discover
that although you are human, you are also divine, and it is in the experience of your own divinity that you will discover the
power to create worlds; you will experience the bliss of your own being.
You can then begin to create your life from a place of unlimited potential. You can begin to create a life that steps out
of the mundane and into the miraculous. You can begin to experience yourself not as an isolated, separate entity, but as
the vast ocean of consciousness manifesting as a human being.
When you create from this place, from this place of grandeur, from this place of magnificence, from this place of
inspiration, it is like throwing a boomerang. You throw your intention out into the world, and you wait. Then it comes
back ten-thousand fold, showering you with the abundant blessings that are your birthright.
The blessings come, the universe delivers gift after gift, straight into your life. The gifts come because you are
acting from a place of unity with all of creation, which is ultimately acting from a place of love.
It is in the receiving of these gifts, in the return of the boomerang of your intention, that you experience the
bliss of your own being. You experience yourself being enveloped in love, a love so deep and so pure, that the experience
alone dissolves any notion of a limited, isolated, separate self.
As an ancient quote declares:
Know that by which everything else is known.
Discover who you truly are - everything else will come of its own accord.
Create a life that is an expression of the true you, and experience the greatness that you are.
May you experience the boundless love of your eternal essence.

Awakening The Feminine: Connecting To Your Source of Power
Here is what one course participant says:
The two most important messages that the course provides are: 1.) Reality first begins in
consciousness. Then it becomes external reality. As you change your consciousness,
your reality will change effortlessly. 2.) Life is a story. You can change the story
of your life by changing the stories that you embrace, relate (repeat) and these are the
stories that you eventually become. The course was a wholesome experience which helped me
reorient myself about a point deep within myself. Thanks a zillion!
Love Light and Oneness,
~Rajesh

I Am That
by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
My current favorite book of all time is I Am That by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. It documents conversations
that a modern-day enlightened being had with people who came his way.
It has expanded my consciousness profoundly.
